Hi, just want to say this site rocks, with all the fellow ovation players. I thought I was the only one who loved Ovation guitars. I currently have the CC026, CC045 and a applause 1/2 classical. I am planning to purchase a Ovation classical guitar next year. I recently purchaced my CC045 12 string guitar and cannot stop playing it. Well kee up the good work and hope to hear from you....

Welcome to the club. There is a strong southern California group here. I'm a wannabe, especially with record breaking low temperatures outside.

Ditto. You just missed a deal on a Classic 1863 that Paul Blanchard picked up off ebay. I'm sure he'll tell us if it is as good as it looked.

Hey Paul....I feel your pain (REALLY!!!)

It is -2 degrees right now in Denver with the overnight low expected to be around -14.

Add about 10-20 degrees less for wind chill and makes it a bit brisk!

Yep, tough winter, I had to get a guy out to do some repairs on our air conditioner earlier this week. You can't live without AC in Florida in December.

Welcome to the party! The fun just never ends here.

22° outside right now, and expecting 2-4" of snow tomorrow. Yuck!

Hope you guys in Ca. and Fl. don't get too cold. I feel for ya. I really do....not!

27° and snowing in Rochester NY. Don't bother asking "what I'm doing in NY in December". I've asked myself the same question, several times, and I don't have an answer. Right now, I'm bummed I didn't bring a guitar.....

Francis,

Fresberg is not too far to drive for a OFC get together. I drove to Texas for one this year....

The only drag to living in SoCal is we can't tell anyone's kids how we slogged through the snow to and from school, uphill (both ways)through a cemetary after dark, dodging dinosaurs...

But, I digress. Welcome, Francis. Ever take your guitar up to Yosemite, pull up a camp chair and strum awhile? I love it up there!

Not Yet. I just mainly play at home and for my family. I played a gig for my cousin's 18th birthday with my other cousin, who ironically plays a Applause guitar. But we kicked ass. Let me know when the next get together is and where...... Thanks for the love. I feel welcomed here.........

Welcome to the club - stay away from Slot-head Fred, he'll talk to you about strings til your ears fall off and then try to buy your guitar cheap.
