Location: atlanta | Prairie Home Companion has now archived last Saturday's broadcast along with a slideshow of the performers:
http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/programs/2005/12/03/
The show's audio has been conveniently organized into segments. Kaki leads off the first segment, and the audience reaction speaks for itself. Kaki is heard again in Segment 4, when she sits in with the house band, then is interviewed by host Garrison Keillor, and plays one of her compositions for lap steel guitar. At the end of the show, she plays one of her songs while Mr. Keillor credits the staff and closes the show.
The slideshow contains 12 pictures. Click any of the pictures to start the slideshow.
I hope you get a chance to sample some of the audio, if not the entire very entertaining show.
Seasons Greetings to the entire OFC and to everyone at Ovation--

| Excellent show - never heard it before (tho I've read the books). Kaki was funny and her lap steel playing was gorgeous.
Wish I could take you up on the offer cliff - but I won't be in the hood bro. (I believe that's how you yankees speak these days). |
