I don't understand how limited the Celebrity Limited Editions are, or how that affects value. I know a music store that has had an older one for sale at $1000. The same store sold me my Classic for $375, which I thought was a good deal. I just bought a 2004 Celebrity Deluxe for $290 with the case. I thought that was reasonable, so $350 is probably in the ballpark. For that much money, I personally would try to find a good Balladeer or maybe a Legend. I think they would retain their value better.

Ebay has a Celebrity CP 20003 limited edition that just started on a 7 day listing about an hour ago. See what that one goes for.

Hey Paul...what do you like about the Celebrity? Do you like the sound from the deeper bowl compared to the shallow bowl on your guitar? No question that YOUR Elite Special is a better guitar than ANY Celebrity. If you just can't resist the sound of a deeper bowl, why not sell your guitar and buy a used USA-made Ovation with a mid-bowl from someone here. There's nothing particularly valuable about that other guitar. John <>{

Paulcc,
I had the 2003 Celebrity Collector deluxe (can't remember the exact name). It had the single tone epaulets and a Honey tone finish. It was a nice guitar. Very Ovation sounding and feeling. Shortly after I found this site, got a Xmas bonus and sent it back and bought the LX. I didn't think I would be able to purchase another guitar after that...

I do like the sound of the deeper bowl, but I also like my shallow bowl. As I played this guitar it's playability and tone were just incredible. I sometimes dream of owning another Ovation but different I have yet to play a Balladeer.
