Joined: December 2011 Posts: 4 Location: florida | hi all and thanks for this site =) so i have a few ovations but i saw a thunderbolt design i hadnt seen before. I own a thunderbolt TS01 snake and grabbed a CSD double neck a few years back but i walked into a pawn shop yesterday and scooped up a Thunderbolt TD01 with a lightning strike paint design. Its a black background with white/blue strikes that are all accented by metallic glitter type air brushing. Thing is ive never seen this design. i thought the TD01 model number was for the dragon design so my fear is some idiot stripped a dragon and airbrushed it but it looks too good to be a home job. can any one help out with some input? Thanks all. steve | ||

A quick Google search didn't provide any others with the same design, but did bring up a couple other unusual Thunderbolt body artworks... snakeskin T-bolt confetti ??? T-bolt (3rd one in the list) As Bobbo said, might be a promo model. Maybe ya got yerself a gen-u-ine "limited edition" Thunderbolt. or maybe somebody got inspired by this Dean Thunderbolt guitar...
