Welcome to the club. I am sure you will learn much here, and some of it will be good.

There are days when I feel like saying, "Hell," to everyone, too. :D

Welcome, frankchenCN! Hope you enjoy all the discussions. And don't worry about not being very good with English - some of us who speak it every day aren't that good at it either! :D

Welcome FrankChen. My Company has a division in Bejing. This is a great place to learn about guitars, especially Ovations. Maybe not so great place to learn English, as most of us hear speak American instead! (This is a joke!)

Welcome to the OFC.

We're not known for our expertise in spelling.

Many of us are not known for our guitar playing ability either. :D

I certainly DID understand your original meaning. But that is what makes the error so funny. Please forgive our American humor. We were not laughing at you. In our language, saying "hell" instead of "hello" can be funny.

Welcome Frank!

Your broken English is much better than my broken Chinese, by all means.

Phil does enjoy a certian appeal!

Phil may be white on the inside, but he goes to show that two whites don't make a Wong.

I tried to get into BabelFish to do a translation, but my computer is playing mister ugly (actually my network has it blocked). Glad to see someone else translated....

Yes Frank we understood that you were just greeting us. However, in America we often want to tell someone else to go to hell. That has a different meaning all together. It is the opposite of a greating. That is where the humor lies.

Welcome to the board. What guitars do you have? How long have you been playing? What type of music do you play?
