The Mrs's said she had seen the pictures of StandingOvation's on the OvationGallery website and fell in love with it. Somehow, she got this out of the store between my weekly visits and kept it hidden away for the last month.

I spent the last six weeks busting my hump gutting and completely refinishing the finished basement (gah, wimmin). There's a fireplace down there. A wood burning fireplace. Mmmm. Way nicer than that crappy gas log upstairs. I built a fire at 9p on Christmas Eve. There was negative pressure in the flue for some strange reason so most of the smoke backed into the basement. Some surprise. Mrs. Cruster was less than impressed. Congrats on the guitar and amp, Tim. Looks like a nice collection you have going!

I was convinced she was getting me exercise equipment because of all the comments about how out of shape I am, but she got me the Porsche Driving Experience in Portland this summer. It's a one day track driver's education, with reknowned race car drivers and the use of a new 911. Nothing I would have done for myself. Just to bring this on topic, she said if they cancel the event in Portland, I can use it to buy a new guitar. If so, I think it's a U681T, if there are any still around.
