I should know the answer to this but don't. What is the action setting for mandolins? Mine has dropped in this tundra climate and while it doesn't buzz it's like 3/64"(top of fret to bottom of string on the 12th) on both the bass and treble. I seem to remember it being higher on the bass. Couldn't find the info in the mando site.
Any help would be appreciated.

I believe that the standard action is 6/64ths at the bass side and 4/64ths on the treble side.

I might answer that if I knew what the hell RCH's were.

Are these Jersey RCHs or regular RCH?

Thanks for the measurements.

Regular RCH's. Definitely regular.

Nobody ever told me where to set the mandolins but I think the manual lumped them in with the guitars as far as the specs. go. I usually set them somewhere between 3/32" and 2/32"they do seem to be pretty close to the same from one side to the other with 2 thick shims.
