Location: 6 String Ranch | I should know the answer to this but don't. What is the action setting for mandolins? Mine has dropped in this tundra climate and while it doesn't buzz it's like 3/64"(top of fret to bottom of string on the 12th) on both the bass and treble. I seem to remember it being higher on the bass. Couldn't find the info in the mando site.
Any help would be appreciated. |

Location: Connecticut | Nobody ever told me where to set the mandolins but I think the manual lumped them in with the guitars as far as the specs. go. I usually set them somewhere between 3/32" and 2/32"they do seem to be pretty close to the same from one side to the other with 2 thick shims. |
