John Denver played Guilds most of his career, then switched to custom made Taylors for the last few years. During live shows, he also picked up a Les Paul for a few numbers. I saw him maybe a dozen times. If my recollection is correct, the PBS special that airs now and then shows both he and Johnny Cash playing Ovations in a short outdoor scene, and I thought I saw Denver playing an Ovation during a segment in the seating area of the Sydney Opera House.

I can't believe that no-one has has mentioned Jimmy Page here!

(Well I scrolled through the first 8 pages of this post; got tired and searched the board after that)

J’Anna Jacoby. In addition to violin, she plays an Ovation mandolin in Rod Stewart's band. I just had a memory of seeing her (with Rod Stewart) on TV a year or so ago. Browsing the picture gallery at www.jannajacoby.com, there is a picture captioned "With Rod 2002 World Tour" that shows her playing an Ovation Mandolin.
