Upon getting our U681's last year I know a few of us immediately concluded that a 12-string version, 12 fret slothead would be the cats meow and a perfect companion for the 6 string. Some day ...

You actually play like a man with 3 fingers.

Read al's newsletter. He's actually selling these yucky things.

There are times, I think to myself, "Gee, It'd be fun to see Schroeder post more often.".... I can't explain why.

I saw that....Cliff did a great mock-up for us to drool over. Unfortunately for me, I have to decide if it is in the cards or not. Six months ago, my order would have already been placed.

But now.....I have a 1688 (Big Blue Adamas 1), my Baxendale custom 12 fret cutaway slothead 12 string and my soon to be delivered 2080D baritone 12 string.

With the exception of Tony and a few others, does anyone REALLY NEED FOUR 12-string guitars?

Gonna have to mull this one over pretty hard!

I have three 12 strings now. If anyone comes up with a good reason to have four,( A reason my wife will buy), AND the cash, I think this would be a killer Guitar.

NEED four 12 strings??? What the heck does "need" have to do with it?

This ought to be a killer 12 string!

Anybody notice that the mock up Clifford did (which looks great by the way) has old style Kluson tuners on it?

I hardly ever play the one I have. When I upgraded, I sold the Applause 12. That's one area where I don't feel the need for more than one Ovation. I'd probably even get another Ovation solidbody before I got another 12 string.

12's are great. I've got Big Blue (Adamas I 12), a Preacher 12, and a 1969 GC 12 string that should be back from the factory in a few weeks with a whole new body (and lease on life). Everybody should own a few 12's.

Damn Paul, I forgot about the Ibanez Doubleneck and the Deacon 12. Now I have 5 12-strings.

Does anybody other than Tony and a few others REALLY NEED to have 6 or more 12-strings?

I agree tho....this one that Al is offering will be a killa.....and I am really thinking about it seriously!

Yeah, what's so bad about 12 strings? I have a 81 Custom legend 12, a Guild G312 and an Aria Pro II 12 string D41 knock off. And I play 'em all, and love it. 12 string players have twice the fun!

By the way, that 12 string Ute could potentially rivel #54 and JW's custom Ute as the most popular guitars at the '07 Tour.
