Shhh! Don't tell Moody. With the fourth chord he'll be insufferable.....

.....he's standing right behind me, isn't he?

moody,
the link seems to function better if you first bookmark it. (right click on the link in tom's post and select "Bookmark This Link") then open it from your browser rather than through this forum.

That was awesome! Chet was who my Dad and I use to listen to with rapt attention. He was a one man band. I never saw anyone come close to Chet's abilities until now. I could spend the rest of my long life watching and listening to such talent.

Please don't misunderstand me... but that is music as compared to slamming power chords and running riffs. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE R&R, hard rock, classical, folk and etc. But when I hear the likes of the link. WOW!

Thanks for the link! Are there more like that? Feed me!

Maybe I'm reading that wrong, but did you just say that Chet Atkins was your father?

This guys great. You know, I watch him looking to see what he's doing, he stays on it for two bars, and then rockets off to the next thing. Each bar meshes.

I have to agree with all said here. This guy is awesome.

Just picked up his cd "Endless Road" today. Haven't had a chance to hear it yet, but soon.

He's very entertaining to watch on youtube, too!

Dave

Edit to say...in the cd jacket, he lists which guitar he used after each song title. Cool!

What a great video. Thanks for sharing it. It's always great to watch someone like Tommy work his magic on the fingerboard.
