Looking for input and ideas for the next project. It is a cut to shape Limited body and I am not decided on which neck to go with.

I thought I'd share some pics with the DIY Whackers Club. DVD - I need some fedback on yours!

That's georgeous Woody. I'd go with the neck you have on it. What's the pickguard made out of? What kind of pickups are those?

The pickups are Seymour Duncan design HB 103s which are relatively good. The Veneer is a figured Mahogany Crotch cut (easy guys).

I have considered all of the TV Jones pups but I'm thinking budget for now.

I prefer the term creatively abstract or randomly tasked. When I was growing up they didn't have letters yet so I was just the kid the Teacher had to stand behind to get any work done.

Now I'm a Musician...

Mike, this one is looking fantastic! You finished this one differently than your 12. How so? And the block inlays look as nice as I had hoped with that body.

Had to take a bit of a spending break over the holidays. Hopefully I can come up with some chrome hardware and make a decision on the electronics.

Have you dipped and sliced mine yet?

DVD - No Dip and slice just yet. The garage is a mess until the bathroom is finished. It's hard to use the stripper at 34 degrees ;) Kinda waiting on your final assessment and plan. Yeah, that's my excuse...

I tried a Poly gloss finish this time. I will have a lot of rubbing to do. Much build up on the PG as well. It is an open veneer, much like a burl or a spalted cut. Spray three, sand, repeat.

When I'm done I will play it, love it and eventually sell it to make room for the next big adventure, you know...

I',m looking hard at the TV Jones pups!

Every time I think you've inspired me to do more woodworking, you mention that darned sanding part again. and again. repeat. Brings me back to my senses.

Just pay me to do it.
Then send a large check to my Dealer in Jersey! He only has a half dozen or so guitars I want.
