Joined: December 2003 Posts: 13984 Location: Upper Left USA | The pickups are Seymour Duncan design HB 103s which are relatively good. The Veneer is a figured Mahogany Crotch cut (easy guys). I have considered all of the TV Jones pups but I'm thinking budget for now. | ||

Joined: December 2003 Posts: 13984 Location: Upper Left USA | DVD - No Dip and slice just yet. The garage is a mess until the bathroom is finished. It's hard to use the stripper at 34 degrees ;) Kinda waiting on your final assessment and plan. Yeah, that's my excuse... I tried a Poly gloss finish this time. I will have a lot of rubbing to do. Much build up on the PG as well. It is an open veneer, much like a burl or a spalted cut. Spray three, sand, repeat. When I'm done I will play it, love it and eventually sell it to make room for the next big adventure, you know... I',m looking hard at the TV Jones pups! | ||
