Location: Boise, Idaho | You should have come up to watch Nevada play Miami last night. I went to it. Nevada also played a great game, but unfortunately ended up on the other end of a one point loss. A win would have made the WAC the winner of the bowl championship trophy. |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | Being a Nebraskan, it would have been good for the 'huskers to have the Sooners trash Boise State in order to improve the final power rating standings. But I did find myself caught up in cheering for the underdog, and was happy for BSU. It was a great game! (And most NU fans don't mind watching OU lose.)
The half-time show featuring the promotion of Habitat for Humanity was superb, in my opinion. American sports fans need occasional reminders that we are still connected to a society with many needs.
Zabransky redeemed himself for a few minutes, but choked on the post-game interview with some of the lamest cliches, even by the subhuman standard that already exists for such interviews.
Props to the Boise team, coaches, and community!
Thus endeth my report. :) |

I don't think I've ever seen a worse post game interview than the one Adrian Peterson did, though. "Uh, I don't know. My head's spinning." I think there was a "ya know" thrown in there.
I went to Kansas State, Paul, so I don't have any love for Oklahoma or Nebraska, although I wish they win whenever they aren't playing KState, Iowa, or, in this case, BSU. Texas-Iowa was also a good game, but didn't come out the way I hoped. |

Johnson's televised proposal to his cheerleader girlfriend was cute, but bizarre.
Do they have sports at KSU? |
