Thanks to Tupperware (Dave) for the free OFC pick and Johnnycash83 (Jason) for the friendly, honest and much appreciated trade. Oster (Owen).

Joined: November 2006 Posts: 62 Location: Canada | One other thing, Jason - I've played a lot of guitars in my time and have gotten to know quite well when one is nicely set up. If that's how you put together and set up a guitar, you've got a knack.

Joined: August 2006 Posts: 2804 Location: ranson, wva | thanks owen..not bad for a self taught guy huh?? there isant any shims under the saddle,if you need a few let me know ive got a tin full of them. im extramly anal about a setup on my guitars..low action, good frets, when i bought it the frets had deeper grooves in them. i dressed and leveled them the best i could..other than that nasty stain under the rossette the damn thing is in good shape for being 24yrs old..from what i was told that model was one of the first series of ssbs...oh yeah one more thing...if the battery ever dies they are a motha to change....you will figure it out...thanks for the compliment to the set up...jason ps..i set the 1118 up and got the action back in specs...
