I'm sure some of you other guys have seen this - it's the confirmation email I received from CDBaby:

Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing.

Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved 'Bon Voyage!' to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Thursday, January 4th.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer of the Year'. We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!
I got a good laugh out of that.

Good fun, but it does get exhausting for us Portlanders waving 'Bon Voyage' to those CD's every 5 minutes!

I guess the only thing better than that would be to have Waskel deliver it himself.

just change "private CD Baby jet" to "private CD Baby GoldWing"... otherwise it's pretty much the same experience! :p

I wondered what all that noise from up north was...

THANKS, guys. I sincerely appreciate your support and encouragement!
I wish I could deliver each one personally, but then the price would be a little higher.

For those not comfortable with online ordering, they can always be ordered from me. I don't have 50 inspectors or a private jet, and I'm no longer allowed to handle candles, but I manage to get them wrapped and out the door fairly quickly.

btw, it will be available digitally, but the timeline is 3 weeks to 6 months. CDBaby has no control over how fast the digital distributors (itunes, yahoo, etc) get it online once they send it to them.

I promise I only hit the button once to submit a review. I don't know why it's there twice.

Thank you again, Phil. I also appreciate your review comments on CD Baby very much!

Thank you, as well, Arthur.

Autumn Rain was a surprise, it was completely spontaneous. You notice it fades in - I was just groovin on those chord changes and thankfully happened to be recording.

All I needed was the encouragement, Phil. I'll sing Old MacDonald over the top of John's music and sell my own CD.

I'll split the profits with you, Jas. Or sue you. Depends on how it sells. :D
