Location: Germany | According to the Adamas Slothead reference list #47 was made on 1/5/77. So today we can celebrate the 30th birtday!
There is no pic of #47 on Jerome's website. Although it's owned by the factory I have never seen any pics excepting the two pictures with Moody and Tuppy during a factory tour. Who can provide some more pics of the original #47?

Location: Phoenix AZ | I'll assume that #47 was "completed" on 1/5/77 but it then went through another 5 days of oooh and ahhh. Most likily it was actually January 10th that Charlie said "this one is a keeper" and it went home with him.
So let's just assume January 10th was THE day. OK? At least go along with it to make me feel good.
I have the good fortune of working 3 miles from my home. Yesterday a co-worker and I picked up subway sandwiches and went back to my house for lunch. He's a hammered dulcimer player and he wanted to see my guitars. he plays a little guitar. I played 47/47 for him plus a bunch of others. When leaving he asked, "Why do you need anything other than that RED one? That's spectacular."
