Those of you who are aware of my recent ebay debacle...
I tracked it across the country and it's on the truck to be delivered today. It's FedEx so I have to sign...so I don't dare walk down the block or turn the stereo (do they still call them "stereos"?) up too loud for fear of missing it.

I guess I'll have to sit down for a couple of hours and learn how to post pics here. I'm assuming it's gonna be the best guitar playing experience I've ever had.

Could I get them to build a 12 string to match?

I'm guessing you haven't gotten it yet. I had a guitar get to Portland on Friday (GC057), but I didn't get it til Monday. As Slick-Willy Clinton would say, "I feel your pain!"

Sorry. I started another thread when it arrived (1581-2). It's like new! The owner really took excellent care of it. It is the best sounding guitar I've ever played (well, maybe except for that Taylor GS Cedar/Mahogany...but I can't defect to that camp).

Maryanne heard me playing and remarked "That's louder than any other guitar you've had".

Great news, John! Congrats again. Maryanne is already warming up to it too!

She's got a very bad cold...so she's in a weakened state. I'm affraid the sleeping giant will awaken eventually.

so perhaps the comment, "that's louder than any other guitar you've had" was not necessarily a positive one...
maybe she was trying to sleep or had a headache or something?

She really likes the guitar and the exceptional circumstances behind the sale. We both think it's a God thing. It's just that we have other financial priorities. I don't know...the adventure isn't over yet. Maybe the end of it will come on the Factory Tour?

Hi John,
I am hoping to go this year all I need is the date and than I will know more. I really missed going last year, we had an awesome time in 05. Did a wedding in Canada last August made it a working vacation helped finance the trip.
