Some nut probably whacked the headstock into his amp, then sawd it off and made it somewhat usable. I've never seen an uglier beast.

I didn't catch that, no. But I think you'd agree with me! That much mass (of the tuners) on the sound board would have to have a detrimental effect on sound. Did I mention that I like Porsches.

Actually, plugged in, it might not make much difference. Low points for style, extra points for degree of difficulty.
I've got a Matrix neck, sans peghead. May have possibilities, if I can figgur a way to put a roller bridge at the end of the bowl, with the tuners on the bottom end, also.
Somebody stop me........teetering on the edge here.....
