Location: Cherry Hill, NJ | Having received my Musicians 123 catalog in the mail today, I was surprised to see that (unlike Musicians Friend's catalog) 2 pages featuring 16 Ovation guitars. Only 3 were actually O's, the rest were Celebs, and Applause. I never see an Adamas featured in these catalogs, and don't understand why. The Adamas line could compete well in the higher end market. Taylor had almost their entire line, up to the 800 series, featured in the catalog. Some great promo tag lines and photos, could give Adamas the exposure it deserves to a whole new market.
Perhaps its that the imports have the greatest profit margin, so they're marketed more. |

(and really, isn't a certain sense of obscure, contrary, exclusivity just a small part of the overall appeal? ;) |

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ | You're right, they are two different companies. I had to cancel an order on 123, because they wanted to charge me sales tax. MF, outta state, no sales tax. |
