...as for those who may be curious about the picture of "Goldie":
A couple of years ago, Bill, Cliff and I were discussing Bill's lust for things "National" when I came across a gold plated National on Ebay. I sent the link to Bill, but he didn't make the cut. He evidently contacted the seller who told him that the gold National was one of a pair and Bill was able to score the "other one"!
Since then, I've pestered Bill and Cliff to send a picture of Goldie to me.... well, wowie zowie they did!!! :cool: :cool: :cool: |

The picture was taken on Bill's deck the day after the NorEaster soiree at Amy's.
A PhotoShop filter was lightly applied to give it the slight look of a pastel sketch.
Two 11"x17" prints were made on a high-end printer on Bristol Board. They were numbered 01/02 and 02/02 and then the file was destroyed.
Beal got 01, Timster got 02. |

The Pink ones were less valued but the ones the Gas Station handed out every two weeks were praised and quickly exchanged!
Any picture of Bill next to Nancy Wilson is worth double pazoolas! |
