They said these don't exist . . at least, not until now. Now, all I need is a few more Adami to go with it.

Professor,
Anyone outside of this board might think you need professional help but I appreciate your, um, condition.

That is beautiful!

I'm guessing it's the Professor's music room. Time to visit his gallery again.

That's the Prof's MusicRoom.

I've been meaning t'ask . .

Does all that neon generate any noise interference in your amps?

Nine out often times we have to set up w/neon signs at our backs, and it often creates problems (especially with Rick's wireless). Hence, the plugs often "mysteriously" fall out of the wall socket . . .

"it often creates problems (especially with Rick's wireless)."

Cliff: Make sure he doesn't use those batteries that he got in the dollar store like he did on the last gig he did with me. The (brand new) battery in his wireless started to die right in the middle of the second set. For those of you who don't know, the sound is similar to the loud "POP" of someone connecting a guitar with the amp turned way up, only with a rapid "machine gun" rhythm. The ironic part was that he was bragging to me about the great deal that he got on the batteries before the gig.

cwk2, this is, indeed, my bandroom. Cliff, when all the neon lights are on, the problem is heat generation. The room increases 10 degrees in less than an hour. As a result, I only turn them all on for visitors, which isn't very often. When actually playing, I only turn on six (essentially, one on each wall plus a couple of favorites). This creates more of a jazz club feel, but still provides enough light to read music. This is convenient to do because I have those six on one switch and everything else on about four other switches. The amps are all on one circuit and the lights are on two others. There is no noise whatsoever from several of the amps, and only minimal, barely detectable noise from the rest. Feedback from certain guitars is much more problematic. And Woody, I am totally past any possibility of healing by a qualified professional. I need to be committed.

I bet nobody on this board thinks you're nuts, Professor. The loonies run this asylum. (No offense Miles and Al.)

You know Prof, you need to have the headstock and neck of your book Elite glossed. It will increase the quality of the sound dramatically....

I've thought about glossing the neck, Woody, not necessarily because there may be an improvement in tone, but just because I prefer the feel.
