Location: Hicksville, NY | I'm play 6-string guitars mainly, and I do know that the standard tuning for them are E-A-D-G-B-E. What's the standard tuning for a 12-string? |

You can also leave the lowest three octave strings off so that only the higher strings are doubled. Try it sometime when you're taking the strings off to change them.

Location: Hicksville, NY | Thanks for the quick reply. I'd been toying with the idea of acquiring a 12-string, instead of another 6-string as replacement for my one and only balladeer. In the meantime, I'll sleep over it ...
Thank you again Mark and Steve. |

Shoot, I'm just switching-off between the guitar, the computer, and John Wayne on AMC. |

But it is hard to use the computer, Guitar gets in the way of the Keyboard. |
