Plus I wanted to add a little color to the event. Glen was a great guy and letting Brad and I sit in and jam with him for a while was awesome!

Guess I should have put one of these ;) in with the statement  No, we did not actually get to jam with Glen. I was actually AMAZED that he even played the show because he had a BROKEN right hand from where a golf cart ran over it in Las Vegas.

Glen was very gracious, a delight to meet, and even with his broken hand he played incredbily smooth and fast.

Seriously, I do a lot of performing here. The symphony stage managers and back stage directors are colleagues of mine. They really were expecting us. GC is a really nice gentleman. So is his business/tour manager who made all the arrangements on GC's end. How'd they let you guys back there? I thought the NSA was working better than that now that the Democrats control the Congress...... By the way, he played his blue strat, an EA-68 Viper, and a Hamer 12. We were seated in the front row (which I was able to obtain at half price with my performer's discount) and during Rhinestone Cowboy, he walked over and pointed the microphone down in our faces on the chorus. Of course, we blared out our finest.

During the show, you could see his pain as he would shake it loose in the middle of some of his better licks (like Classical Gas and the William Tell Overture). He also told us that the cast had been removed only hours before the show.
