Just wondering if there's any hope of retrofiting my "new" 1991 1767-4 with an externally accessible battery box. Has anyone had it done and have you been happy with the result. The screw for the internal one looks like it's in just the wrong place to make everything look as if it came that way from the factory.

Thanks.

Pretty certain that the factory can do this. Contact Kim Keller or John Budny.
