Most appreciated. Paul Moody (and Gerri): For your gracious, steadfast and very tolerant hospitality... (getting rid of OFCer's by midnight ain't easy. ;) ) Kim and Fred: Thanks for going out of your way to make airport runs. It's so great when folks volunteer to make your life easier and you both made mine easier... To all on the board who attended... Thanks for a wonderful experience....

I wasn't getting the "get the hell out of here" hint, so someone started detuning the guitar on me mid-song. I figured they wanted me to emulate Matt Smith so I went with it (that's right ... during his Friday night set Matt did an awesome "tuner" solo). That's when some crazy bearded dude in a flower shirt physically removed me from the premises. ". . getting rid of OFCer's by midnight ain't easy . ." MIDNIGHT?!?!?!?!?!?! . . . pussies. Ditto on what Jeff said. Thanks to Temp for getting us into the menagerie. Thanks to Paul and Jerrie for inviting the circus into their home not once, but twice. Thanks to Al and Miles for setting the stage and the chance to call a truly amazing group of folks my friends.

Joined: February 2002 Posts: 5750 Location: Scotland | I was already carrying an Adamas and a roll-away case as carry-on so it wasn't practical to gate check. The Lap was in it's original shipping cartons with any mention of Chandler Guitars obscured so it was just an anonymous cardboard box. The problem occured because the LA flight was delayed and my luggage including the Lap Steel didn't make the Heathrow connection. My clothes and business stuff arrived this morning. The guitar isn't showing up on their systems. They've also managed to lose all the G-band promo material.
