There are two separate "History of Ovation Books" out there in circulation (or not).

Where are they?

Fess up now! :(

Seems the last I heard one was moving around the southeast.

I live in the southeast and it's not me who's sitting on it.

I wanted to say the other half of that comedy team (Oliver). I typed it out, but the more I looked at it the worse it sounded.

I posted last June when I received Book#1...

It appears that the book wintered in Texas. How did it get water damaged?

Where is it going next?
ttenn explained to us that he received it in that condition and the thread ended there.

Again in September...

Now about Book One... who wants it next?
moody... "Bruce, what's the "Book One"?"

jeff... "... The Ovation History Book (One)"

tony... "not sure what book I had; forgot to sign before giving to Fred. might give me another chance..."

noah... "Good excuse for a ride down to San Diego. I don't think it would be hard to persuaded Fred to come along."

But Tony did not want us in San Diego :( because we had walked on the Dark Side...

Even Fred didn't want anyone knowing he played it and liked it!

So there you have it. Water-damage and mold did not deter you guys from wanting to sign this Book, but put it in a household with a Rainsong...

All kidding aside... let me have moody rewrite his corner. Everything that he wrote is washed out by the water damage. Hopefully, Fred and I will see Tony within the next few weeks. Then we will send it to its next destination.

Now, after Tony signs, where does it go next?
Tony's name is at the top of the list. Give me
some other names.

Book#1 (feb 07)
noah --> Paul

Book one is with Darth Noah and headed to the next one to go "ooh, ooh!".

I think Book 2 is with the Wooden Roundback.

Which is...?

Can I be a temporary custodian/signatory of one of the books? I have my own copy that I bought in the UK, but I'd love to be part of the lore.

It would be real nice to see both books at the tour.
We could just leave them out on the coffee table in the lobby.
When the time gets closer, you can send them to me, Al, or anyone else who is going.

I always thought that when the time comes, and the books are just about in tatters and full of signatures and comments, they should come to a final resting place at the Mothership. Maybe on Kim's bookshelf.
