No luck there but I did buy a 1537 from Jeff W, a Country Artist from Serge, a GC 12 string from another OFC member and a #47 Reissue from Al. Well today I finally got my Breadwinner!! So I have fulfilled my initial purpose for coming here - did someone say - "When you can snatch the Breadwinner from the Bay it will be time for you to leave?" But if I go, who will I show pictures of my Ovations to??!! Where else am I gonna find such a cool calendar? Where will I purchase string tubes??? Oh crap, I better stick around. I'll give everybody an update when the BW arrives.

I ended up getting it for less than the BIN anyway. I hope it's as good as it looks, the pictures look like there's a discolored area next to the bridge - so I'm not sure what's up with that. I have not played a BW since the 70's, but I've wanted one for years - I'm excited. Now I think I want one of those tiny low watt tube amps. Anybody got any suggestions?

I had been watchin the auction closely, but I might not have bid on it if my wife hadn't called me at work and asked me if I wanted her to bid on the Breadwinner! Nothing like getting permission and encouragement 15 minutes before the auction ends.

Muzza, I don't know that the Viper is all that cheap. Looks about right. Funny thing is, two years ago when I started looking, that one would have gone for $250.

Oh, crap! It's February, time to turn the page. Oooooooooh! Gentlemen and Ladies, mark your Calenders for the next season of Buyers Market - Jan-Feb 2008!
