First, see that key that says "Caps Lock"? Press it.

Second, what are you talking about?

Well, if it's really a C759 LX-5 SER NO 597438 then yes, it is a genuine Ovation.

David

Go to the UK distributors web site, which is:
www.jhs.co.uk.

It does not show the C759LX-5 but something very similar. Have a look and do some comparisions. If the price is right, snap it up. What is being asked for this guitar.

The USA made models hold their value and are much better made that the Korean. And this 12 string will sound great.

Welcome to the club, David. You ought to fit in just fine with the rest of us.

C759LX is an official Ovation model. Their marketing probably just hasn't caught up with the production guys yet.

For a grand, you have bought yourself a bargin. New, I would expect it to be in the £1700 - £1900 area, maybe more. Custom Legend 12 string LX's are not that common here in the UK. A good buy and I expect it sounds great.

I wouldn't mind betting that you own a Ducati, too. And a bloody good one at that.

Dave, have you checked out Ducatisportingclub.com? They have a Ducati version of the OFC. A great bunch of guys n gals who get together for rideouts through the English countryside (in summer) and are just as fanatical, informative and opinionated about their Dukes as we are of our O's.
