The February guitar is Whitehead's Custom Ute. But it' more than that. It's got the #47 sound board mated to a mid depth LX bowl. Acoustic only. Maybe one of the best sounding Adamii I've ever played. If the OFC guitar wasn't coming up, I'd be looking at a variation on one of these (cosmetic changes only, along with a p/u).

Aw, gee, shucks, Fellers...

If folks have been paying been paying attention, they've noticed this guitar is sorta the Adamas version of Moody's Custom LX Nylon.

Some of the things that I love about this guitar...
-W I D E fretboard @ 1-7/8" nutwidth
-Playing comfort
- It's pretty. Though in the pics it looks bright red, in real-life it is much more subtle and and understated.
- Unlike many other guitars I've played, this guitar sounds terrific with all sorts of different sizes and styles of strings. It's incredibly versatile.
- Tons of volume and sustain.

I'm so completely happy it, I'm really GAS free these days.

And for those who missed it - here is a link to Jeff's incredible guitar.

Feb 2007 Calendar page

Enjoy!

And if you don't have a calendar - buy one while you can! You won't regret it. It features a bunch of great photos of great guitars and it benefits the OFC. All the cool kids have one, don't be left out!

Jeff, that's a beautiful guitar. I've said before, hanging out here sure has changed my outlook on these Adamas guitars. Did not care for the look at all before, but I've come to appreciate the design and concept more and more.

Someday I may even be fortunate enough to own one.

Love the Feb. pic, too! Nice!

Sue & Kim's? You mean Amy & Kim's?

No blue pick stuck in the strings at the second fret.

They're cream colored OFC picks.....
