I have a ritual with new strings where once everything is in tune and I'm ready to go I always play Neil Young's Powderfinger before anything else. Is there anyone else out there who always plays the same thing when the new strings go on...or am I just a bit weird?

Maybe because it took me so long to learn it, I almost always start playing a few bars from Classical gas with almost any guitar I pick up. New York's Not My Home is another that I play, just to run up the frets, but it doesn't hit the high E string until the chorus, so it's not a good test of strings. To test, I usually barre a couple chords up at about the 12th fret, just to see how it sounds and do the intro or chorus to Time in a Bottle to see if I get fret buzz at the upper frets.

And now that I have that song stuck in my mind... Look out, Mama, there's a white boat comin' up the river. One of Neil's best. What IS the name of that song, so I can get it in my music collection, and get chords/tab?
