Hi! Got my first two O's ever this year. Joined the club after the 1st but the 2nd has me over the top to the point where I wanted to share. Here's how it happened. Ad in local Craigs List for a Josh White reissue sent me into a panic. Turned out the original owner lived about 5 blocks away so called and went over. Not a JW (too bad!) but was a very nice, low mileage Folklore. No cracks, no checks, just a few small dings and a bit of fret wear. Even the purple-lined case is near mint. Took me about two minutes to pay and head for home. I'm crazy for the wide neck! Learned on a classical and have large hands, so this feels like heaven. Much better than my OM-28V. The other O is a 1982 Custom Balladeer in similar shape. Great sound, but...the wide neck on the Balladeer is transformational. Love this site! Ron |
