I am looking for an acoustic amp just for home use and want it small but with vocal capability. I have looked at fishman, ultrasound, aer, and ashdown. Though ashdown may not be the best it comes with a cherry cabinet so my wife will probably not object to leaving it out and the factory reseals are currently down to $340 with full warranty and 45 day return. Does anyone know any downside to these units.
Thanks,
Steve

The Fishman and AER are probably better, but at that price it's a no-brainer. Go for it

For that price range, you might be able to find a used Trace Elliott TA50R.

All I know is at NAMM, ashdown had the best looking, most scantily clad, biggest boobed bimbos in the entire hall. And THAT's saying a lot.

Entry-level Trace. Half the output and a much older design. The Ashdown is a better bet. Incidentally The Ashdown Company emerged from what was left of Trace after they folded the first time.
