I want to adjust the truss rod on my deacon 12 and deacon 6 string electric guitars.
Is there something different about these? Is this a 2 way adjustable rod or is it the standard where you tighten the rod in the clockwise direction viewed neck down and it flattens the fretboard (bends it up towards the strings)?
Or is it reversed where I tighten counterclockwise?
Thanks

Thanks! Do you think I should loosen the strings before tightening it? Some guitars I have need to have their strings tuned way down before the rod turns easily. I sont want to strip it.

I would loosen the strings a bit if I were doing it, or at least apply some downward pressure on the neck as you are tightening.

neck rod adjustments should be made with the strings at pitch

I usually pull back on the neck as I tighten. Only take 1/16th turns.
