After personally witnessing these things being built, . . . I seriously doubt there'll be an FRG coming out of this batch . . .

If me and my Sister Sally owned an online guitar shop, we'd advertise guitars as FRG's just to lure people in and avoid MAP restrictions.

That's BROTHER Bobby. Did he used to be a Pentecostal preacher? This is a serious question, BTW.

I think Dave was talking about his spiritual advisor, the good nun Sister Sally. You know, sort of the gregory approach to marketing. :D

No, that would be Cecelia. She sells seashells by the seashore on Saturdays and Sundays.

Sally is a shepherd. She's away at the Vet's today. It seems that Sally's sixth sick sheep still sheds, snorts and sniffles.

Um, Cliff - call the clinic when you get a chance please...

That is what I heard, after the german distributor asked for me at the Mother. With the #47 not being a limited run for a certain number (like Al's 12 pieces of the OFC guitar) and the serial numbers do not say #bla from bla, there is no official end on this run. They said they will build the #47 as long as there is asked for.

And for Cliff:
I seriously doubt there'll be an FRG coming out of this batch . . .
If they do not sell a FRG of the #47's, I wonder what they will do with the one I have ordered and the german distributor sent back because of a lot of quality issues. I seriously doubt they'll trash it.

From what I gather, yes you can order adamas guitars with carved scrolled headstocks for the foreseeable future (aka adamas custom shop). But they make no mention of the other "slothead" features as being available after the run of 47RI/OFC guitars. For example, no mention of beveled fretboard end, carved heel, gold color inlaid accents on the top binding, gold colored leaf fretboard inlays, graphite solid neck stripe, etc. These are not listed as "standard" custom shop options. Although for the right sum, I guess anything is possible.

My own conspiracy theory is the following. I can guess that these 47RI/OFC guitars are a bitch to build, but instead of just coming right out and saying "NO" we won't do that anymore, they offer it at a price that in reality scares away any real requests. Just my guess.

I heard that a dealer, Maggot Music, has a standing order for all FGR units.

Goober's reciting factoids! What has this place come to???

I just love this place!

For the record, and I know most of you have one, I was the the first to put dibs on an FRG #47 about a year and a half ago...
