Jeff, I think you're probably thinking of Goldie Goldthorpe, he was from Thunder Bay

The real life person who was supposed to be "Oggie Oglethorpe" they thought he was so crazy when they filmed this they didn't let him be in the film because they thought he'd take a run at Paul Newman.
