| The Viper in Gretsch hardware is complete and beautiful.
body and neck/headstock are done in a nice tobacco-burst in nitrocellulose lacquer.. glassy finish.
nos bwb pickguard, all gold hardware and screws, gold filtertrons, gold grovers, adjustable brass nut, gold vol/tone knobs and gold ovation schaller bridge,
wired with cts pots and orange drops, bridge is straight volume out and neck is a vol/tone...
Al(slydog) picked it up and took it home before I could get some pictures.. then he took some pictures and couldn't get them uploaded.. so I will go over and get some more pictures and get them up tomorrow sometime..
now that the viper is done... the UKXII will be next.. It will be a decent Bluebird tribute, I promise.

| Those are nice, I like the tuxedo/bwb they're a little more formal than this, but I think Brett and I did alright.
sorry bout the mess... we're putting in new flooring.
a big thanks to Miles, MWoody, and John B. for helping to provide the parts for this one, and the others to come.

| here's another shot, Brett really did a great job on the finish. what you don't see is that the lacquer actually has gold flake dusted into the clearcoat, it is on the body, neck, and headstock, not quite an Adamas fairy dust look, but enough there that you can see it glint in the light. pretty cool.
The UK with the Bluebird 12 neck is next up... base coats/color on the body have already been shot.
Brett has some interesting stuff coming up, currently working on a couple of guitars for some signed artists.
I'll get some photos of the ones that aren't secrets next time I'm out there.
