Joined: April 2010 Posts: 2 Location: Calstock, Cornwall, UK	Greetings all, I'm here looking for information, and, possibbly, parts. I've been commissioned to restore a Breadwinner back to original electronics or as close as possible. the current innards are not remotely like the originals in any way except for the pickups. So, I have a job on my hands! :D

Joined: January 2006 Posts: 1111 Location: NW Washington State	The original preamps are hard to find. Most people who have a spare hold on to them. The preamps used FETs and had active tone controls and unusual switching. Here's one version of the manual to give you an idea: http://www.ovationtribute.com/Catalogues/70_Ovation_Solid_Body_Owne... Schematics are available for the preamps but they use some custom-made parts that are VERY hard to find. You're lucky to have the original pickups- lots of Breadwinners were hacked up with full-size humbuckers and the preamp removed. -Steve W.
