Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | I am trying to find out who designed the Ovation logo that has been on the headstock of Ovations from the start. I have always liked this logo. Thanks. |

As I recall, according to Cliff, it was popular in the late 60's and early 70's. I can't remember if anyone specific picked it. I like it too. A search here might dig up some details. |

They still use the stencil block style on some of their cases (I think), and then there's the rather plain-jane logo with the guitar silloette behind it. My favorite is the arabesque headstock logo. FWIW, I wish they'd use that one more on t-shirts, ball caps and such. |
