It's in French but you don't need to speak French to listen to the incredible sound of that guitar!! :D JFL says that the #37 is full of bass and that she's got an amazing projection. It's an Adamas... ;) J :)

Also, at the end of his description of the Adamas (where the camera was panning "down" the headstock/neck), did he mention something about "James Taylor"?? My inadequacies in the French language are equal to my inadequacies as a guitarist . . . Thanks for posting that.

I don't know anything about this brand... :( I've found THIS LINK ON THE WEB. The double cutaway is a special guitar (he doesn't give the brand). JFL called her his "6/12 Guitar". This guitar is tuned with the 6 strings an octave higher from a 12 string set. I don't know if you can understand what I mean with my poor English?? He's using this guitar in studio for doubling each note played with his Nylon Guitar. By this way, he's got the warm sound of the nylon strings and the brightness and precision of this steel string guitar. The Takamine nylon string is a custom order made in 1985 and built by M.Hirade. This is a prototype and the first one to have a cutaway. JFL is playing that one at the Olympia in Paris in 1988 with Marcel Dadi. Not sure that you will understand all the things I've wrote but I've done my best... :D J :)

Sounds like the double-cut is in Nashville tuning. The heart-shaped soundhole is very Zemaitis, but it's definately not a Zemaitis. Headstock looks like a Gianini, but it's probably not one of those either.
