Nope, I think it's an M (0000) sized. OM shape is different (upper and lower bouts are closer to the same size. Also OM42 would have Martin inlaid down the center of the headstock (this one looks more like the traditional gold decal logo), and OM42 sould have abalone around the fretboard end (maybe this one has it, can't tell).

I'm pretty sure it a M-38

I concur, it's a late '70's M series, either a 36 or 38, not sure which. The M's were kinda the forerunner to the later Martin Jumbo/0000 body size. If memory serves the M36/38 was developed from a Martin C series archtop which David Bromberg had converted to a Flattop. Bill, didn't you tell me that Charlie had a Martin C series that was later converted to flattop, or did I dream that?
