A Ukulele player looking for a gig.

Trust me - it's hard. There's a project going on over here at the moment, involving all the local Brass and Silver Bands - the idea is to get their players together to open the 100th TT races this year. A local boy and TT rider in the past would arrive on George Formby's old cycle, and the band strike up "Riding in the TT Races".

I offered to play my Uke for them, but has anyone got back to me?? No. The swines.

An independent guitar dealer won the NJ lottery for a million dollars. They asked him what he was gonna do. "I'll just keep selling guitars until the money runs out".

My grandfather always used to say that a optimist is right about as often as a pessimist, but he has more fun.....

A true optimist is the one who says, "It was a great century except for the Hundred Years War."

A pessimists logic; "The pessimist is seldom disappointed, and when he is, it's all for the better."

I remember reading somewhere...

An optimist believes we live in the best of all worlds. A pessimist fears that the optimist is right...

Lanaki:- I'm on the way! Break out the spare bed!!

(maybe that wasn't an invitation, but that's a chance I'm willing to take...

It has been said that a 12 string guitar player spends half the time tuning and the other half playing an out of tune guitar.

The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised.

Weas, you're probably right, but I hope not and time will tell.

My wife says I'm a pessimist. She says, "Pessimists have no hope!"

I say, "Not true! I have hopes, lots of hopes. I hope the car doesn't break down, I hope we don't get lost, I hope we don't get mugged coming out of McDonalds, I hope my plane doesn't fall out of the sky, I hope my bladder doesn't explode... See? I'm hopeful!"
