Location: NYC | I am looking for a USA Ovation that has a deep bowl and no cut away. Some models I am interested in our:
Legend 1717
Custom Legend 1719
Balladeer 1711
I live in NYC so I know there is somewhere I can go to try one of these out (I hope!). I am also interested in used Ovations that meet my above criteria (deep bowl, no cutaway). Basically I have called Guitar Center and Sam Ash in Brooklyn and Manhattan and they can order some models but they have nothing in stock. The only Ovations I have actually been able to play are Elite or mid or shallow bodied or lower end models. I think my old guitar teacher had a deep body and I absolutely love that tone and want to try one out for myself. Can any one suggest a place in or around NYC that has a decent selection of new or used Ovations? |

Don't beat around the bush, just come out and say it!

Seriously, you are fortunate to be so close to New Jersey. I never thought I'd say that. Make an appointment to go try some of Al's stuff and let him play so you can see what they sound like from the other side. He'll have several that you like. I think he sold the 30th Anniversary Custom Legend that he had. That would have been a nice one for you. |

By the way, why random music? |
