Joined: March 2005 Posts: 5567 Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | The shell is from a Snapping Turtle...maybe an alligator Snapper but doubt it as they are not indiginous to Canada...I used to catch these when I was a boy...somewhere I have apic of me at 7 holding one up by the tail...It was bigger than me then. I never ate them...just caught them, showed them to Mom who always freaked out, and released them...I did this with snakes and all kinds of turtles, frogs, lizards and salamanders! We didn't have game boy back in the day...you had to amuse yourself! Come to think of it, guess thats why I started to play guitar! That and the Beatles! | ||
