Why isn't Al Sharpton all over this guy? I thought the "right" reverend Sharpton was going after rap and hip-hop "folks" (can't bring myself to call them artists).

It'll never happen.

Sharpton going after the cRap/HipHop Community would be like committing Political Suicide.
It'd be like Bush going after BigOil, or Hillary going after SensibleShoes . . .

What I can never figure out is, for someone who "marches" at the drop of a hat, Sharpton REMAINS the FatBastid that he IS . . .

Hypocritical fat bastard. Selfserving hypocritical fat bastard, wait, are we talking Sharpton or Jackson? Never mind, that's getting political, forgetit.

Fillhixx, you're right, we should be tolerant of wild behavior. It's just the f@cking noise that goes on with the behavior these days.......

I'm so right, I'm left!

Doesn't mean I like it, either the performance OR Rap, I just have trouble getting all self-righteous about my dislike. I've said it before; Rap fulfills the first law of Rock 'n' Roll. Piss off your parents!

Dumb stage behaviour?
A local rock band (most of them, married with children) would give a free t-shirt to any female who would get up on stage and put it on. Untold dozens climbed on stage to rip off their top and bra, waggle for the crowd, and put the t-shirt on.
It's just a matter of degree.

I don't think the girl expected the 'dry hump' performance was part of getting up onstage.

But you never know?

OK OK. So now the BIG QUESTION: What model and year OVATION must Akon hold on the cover of Time, People, and Newsweek etc. to announce his "kinder, gentler" Cat-Stevens phase?

Tolerance my ass. The sexual exploitation of a 14 year old girl is WRONG. And i don't care who does it. Evil exists and must be spoken of as evil, not in euphemism.

As George Orwell showed, unless we call a thing what
it is, we can neither think about it clearly nor oppose it.

Just wondering, does any have TABs or sheet music for the Akon tune featured on LiveLeak? What's the key? I think the time is, like, .... minimum ten years.

I really can't beleive that anyone can defend or justify behavior like that, blowing it of as being tolerant or "artistic license". Things like this are just evidence of the moral decline of this nation and the world in general. What would you think if that was your daughter up there. As I said before, the end is near.

Today's Perspective, from Today's Funny-pages...

Student to Music Teacher: "Mr Taylor, you make us listen to all that old Jazz and Blues and stuff. Why don't you like New Music? Like Hip-Hop? And Rap?"

Music Teacher: "I have a simple way of deciding what music I listen to... If I cannot whistle along with the song, I don't like it!"

[Oh, Sorry. They don't teach music in school anymore]
