Location: PDX | For me it's about 70:30 in favor of electrics. In the music room i have three guitar stands. Two have electrics and one an acoustic; a Telecaster, a Swan, and a 1547.
getting the most play.

An at volume electric is rude. Of course, you could do what I do and wear headphones, but you didn't ask that. |

Amplified, Accoustic.....loud enough that any other acoustic would feed back. Voice, slightly louder. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | I would think that it would be a given, in this forum, that the acoustic side would "win". I personally find I prefer to play S/B electric most of the time these days, though.
Acoustics definitely have their uses, though, and I'm not giving up on them.

Location: ranson,wva | depends on what room of the house im in...ive got at least a guitar in every room in the house and a amp in my bedroom,shop/studio and living room. main players are(not in any order) adamas,tele,folklore and tricone(yes i can plug the tricone in). bottom line is that it depends on the mood and what type of music im butchering..lol jason |

Location: ranson,wva | right now i got the tricone in the living room on a oak cornor in a hurc'stand. i keep the tricone out cuz that bad boy is like a tank..lol its not a nati' but its got a bunch of national parts in it,cones,t-bridge coverplate tail peice and i swapped the neck for a custom slothead 1 7/8 nut width and added a highlander pup direct out. it was a johnson but the neck on it sucked..lol its got ovation schaller machines tho....jason |
