Hi, My name Is mike and I own an ultra series by ovation, model # 1517.
Recently the electric end of the guitar stopped working and I have been able to narrow it down to the pickup (the wires were somehow pulled out of it).
Anyways, I was wondering if you guys know how to get a replacement pickup for it, and how much it would cost, and where. Ive tried looking online but i cant find anything, everyone keeps mentioning your site so i thought i would give it a try. Anyways, I hope you can help, thank you for your time.

Hey Mike:

I just ordered a replacement pickup for my Ovation Celebrity. I bought it straight from Ovation. It cost $40, and I think that included shipping. I received it in less than a week.

Contact John Budny ***************, he's really helpful. His phone number at Ovation is: 860-379-7575 *********. He is the Customer Service Manager.

You can pay either via credit card or COD.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Hi 12BarBlues (like the handle, BTW)

I know you did this with good intentions, but PLEASE DO NOT POST ACTUAL EMAIL ADDRESSES. The Internet is full of harvesting bots that do nothing but scan for email addresses to add to spam lists. I've alerted Miles, hopefully he'll edit this soon.

If you MUST publish an email address, alter it so it can't be recognized by a bot - for example replace the "@" and "." symbols by the words "at" and "dot", or put extra spaces between the characters in the address.

Thanks for your understanding.

Only email addresses were deleted. Just call John Budny directly at the phone number 12BarBlues gave you. He's a pleasure to deal with and he'll get you set up with what you need.

Or... you could PM 12bar for the info.
Or... you could ask someone to PM you with the info.
Or... you could just call 860-379-7575. Ask for John Budny. He's the only John Budny there.

btw, Welcome to the Club.

Sorry guys, my mistake. I wasn't thinking. That was pretty stupid on my part. John was a big help, didn't want to cause him any headaches.

No problem. That's how we all feel about him.
You can give Keller headaches if you like. I know I have...
