Hi,

I have an Adamas Mill-CB, owned from new, but the epaulets are lifting at the edges. Is there an approved way of getting these fixed? Back to Kamen?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Loctite was the solution that I used on the one that lifted off my 2000C. I was told they use it at the factory. But things may have changed. You can send it back to Ovation in CT too for a job done right. If you can post some pics, that might help folks here evaluate the situation a little better.

Thanks for the suggestion stonebobbo. I just sent the guitar to Ovation to get a quote for the fix, but it looks like they are shut down until 8/02 according to Kim Keller's email bot response. I will update when I know more.

Update: my Mill-CB was sent to Ovation and returned in about three weeks looking like new. Only cost was the shipping.

My thanks to Kim Keller and the tech who did the work - looks like new epaulets, along with new strings and even a fresh battery.

Excellent service all round by Ovation!

P.S. Full forum access requested.

I tried! I put a few (crap) ones on the Ning site, but I'll try to take some better ones when the sun comes out again.
