| well, I got the Banjo from a member on our communities' BST(buy, sell, trade) chat group that we started here in Brevard as a companion to our freecycling groups that Char started here over 3 years ago..
today one of our freecyclers brought me an old Russian Lap Harp...it needs a string..(piano wire?).. and Crimsonlake sent me a couple of viper bodies and parts..
our groups also hit the news a couple of weeks ago... and you can see the video here..
Channel 13 news report
I had just gotten up.. no coffee.. walked out into the Livingroom, and found the news crew and cameras rolling with the interview with Char
our .orgs are now the busiest freecycling groups in the world.. consistently.. and our 5,000 members here locally are busier than groups with 20 to 30 thousand members... including NY, LONDON, PARIS, LA, etc..
our landing page is here:

Actually the things that fly across the board are amazing(Freecycle). When Char & Glenn began this endeavour the stuff that traded was mostly junk, but as it's grown, cars, boats & trailers have been traded as well.We used to collect junk computers and gut em and fix em and give em away.Too many legal issues there tho.Got a full garage? Freecycle it! slydog |
