The newer one does indeed have a padded handle, and does seem a lot nicer. Made me think the other 9159 was actually an 8158 if it weren't for the bar code on the end.

As for a review well I don't know how to put it all in words, but I have played a lot of guitars over the years about 12 years ago I played a friends Martin and I have never played anything like till I played some Adamas models mostly at the tour. Well this one was in Guitar Sam where I bought my Ovation, I have played it just about every time I went in. One Sunday afternoon my wife gave me a green light to go ahead and purchase the Adamas. Since I was trading the Ovation I had to think real hard and this being a big deal for me. Well I thought I have never played the Adamas plugged in so if it didn't sound better than my O plugged I would forget about it. I went to the store and played three chords probably the same chords moody knows and the tone is awesome, so I plugged her in and played the same three chords "WOW" the EQ on the amp and guitar were flat so I tweaked the guitars EQ, played the chords and I immediately unplugged the guitar and now I own this beautiful Adamas. I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for all the encouragement you have given me over the years. Pauly
