I'm very, very sorry to hear your news. Please accept my condolences.

And next year come to the Euro OFC meeting (there's sure to be one).

Erik,
The best parts of this group are all about the sharing time with each other. Pain, loss, hope, joy and everything in between.

When the time is right you might need to do some traveling and meet up with some of us "interesting strangers you met in an internet chatroom" to quote what one Member told me at our meeting.

Plan one for the upper-left corner!

Peace

Erik,

I'm sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies are with you on this one bro. I'm glad to know that the OFC community cares about you, and help you keep hanging in there with the music, comfort and camaraderie to get you through this time of difficulty.

Thank you all for all the nice responses to this thread. Your care and hugs really warms and is good help for me. She was buried yesterday, we had a very good time sharing the sorrow with almost the entire community (we live in a small village) and her closest relatives and friends.

Tomorrow I leave for a short vacation in Stockholm, I'll go out to hear some good music, check out the music stores for nice guitars, and have a good time for a few days before going back to work and the everyday life.

I'll get back to you all next week! :)

That's hard. This is the kind of thing that brings me back to reality, and that all too often I take my family for granted, that they'll just always be there. None of us can see the future, and I can't imagine one without my family. I'm sorry for your loss. I'll keep you in my prayers, and I think tonight I'll bring my wife some flowers.
