Hi all,
Just bought a Patriot 1776. What a great sound and feel its got it.
Looking to see if I can trace any of its history, its number is 0972, and its got its original brown case.
Unfortunatly it did'nt come with its certificate. Is there a way I can get a copy of the original?

You might want to check with John or Kim at the factory. I don't know if they can re-issue those or not.

Depends on what you paid for it. It's a fine guitar....

Those are cool guitars. Good luck with a copy of the COA.

Not a bad price plus you love it so don't worry about it. You thought it was good when you paid it so stop second guessing it. Just play it.

Hi Chip. In my view that's a good price for a top-flight US Ovation model on this side of the atlantic. It's not much more that a new Celeb would be here, but you have a much better guitar with an AAA spruce top there and the benefit of 30 years of aging. That's a great buy. Bill's right about enjoying it too.

Shame about those graphics though... ;)

Hi Chip,

I have Patriot #76, and wouldn't trade it for anything. These are great guitars! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine! :D

Let me know what you find out about your COA. I don't have one either and would love to replace it.

thanks for all your feedback, and I'd already made my mind up that this guitar is never leaving my side.
Like to show some pics of it but don't know how to get pics in this message. HELP.

Hey what a coincidence; my mom has one of those too and she's from Liverpool.

Beautiful guitar and very unique, even for Ovation.
